Important Update

January 8, 2026

The Board of Directors at Angels Foster Family Network has made the difficult decision to wind down operations in response to significant changes in California’s foster care system. Earlier this week, we submitted our official 60-day notice to the State of California and have begun a careful, responsible transition process. Our last day of operations will be March 5, 2026.

Our highest priority during this time is the wellbeing of children and families. We are working closely with County partners to ensure that children currently in our care can remain with their Angels resource family as families transition to another local Foster Family Agency or to the County of San Diego.

We are deeply proud of the trauma-informed, attachment-focused care Angels has provided to infants, young children, and caregivers for 27 years, and we remain committed to minimizing disruption during this transition.
