Angels social workers are the foundation of the individualized service we provide to our foster families. Angels families routinely develop close personal relationships with their social workers and credit them with smoothing the path of the fostering process.
Your social worker will provide help and support in all of the following areas, and more:
- Prepare for your foster home certification.
- Help match your family with a foster child (or sibling group) to meet both your own desires and the needs of the child.
- Visit your home regularly to answer questions and provide needed advice and guidance.
- Accompany you on doctor visits and maintain records on the health and progress of your foster child.
- Represent your Angels child in County Juvenile Court and advocate for her best interests.
- Be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to address any concerns.
- Support your family through any challenges that may arise.
