Our San Diego Children Need Fostering

There are so many displaced and neglected children who need fostering in San Diego, and so few families to provide shelter and love. On any given day, there are approximately 1000 children between the ages of newborn and three years old in foster care in our county.

There are at least  81,000 children in foster care in California . Of those, 29% are under the age of 5. In traditional foster care a baby will typically live in three different homes before his first birthday. Angels is different. Our babies stay in one loving home, with one family, while they are in foster care.

At Angels, we often see infants and toddlers removed from their families because they have been exposed to substance abuse, domestic violence or physical harm. These children have experienced what most families could never imagine for their child. No mother gives birth expecting her child to be harmed. Unfortunately, there are times and situations when the community needs to step in to do what is best for the child.

Because of what these children have endured, they need loving care and attention from the most nurturing of caregivers. Call Angels today and offer these children the love they need.

Children of All Backgrounds Need Families

Many American couples choose international adoption, but there are many American babies who need homes.

Angels respects the cultural diversity and background of all of our babies. Our training emphasizes cultural sensitivity and suggestions are made to honor each child’s heritage with art work, music and books that celebrate their ethnicity.

Consider opening your heart and your home to an Angels baby, no matter their ethnic background. We are all more alike than we are different.
