1. Enhance foster family recruitment
Angels Foster Family Network’s success is limited only by our ability to recruit and train qualified foster families. Angels seeks to certify more qualified foster parents, with the goal that one day no child will ever be turned away because we lack a family to care for them.
2. Funding, Grants and Donations
The Angels Foster Family Network is a 501©(3) non profit agency that relies on grants and donations from generous corporations, foundations and individuals. It costs approximately $5,000 annually to recruit, screen, train and keep one baby placed with a loving family for one year.
3. Build Public Awareness
The Angels Foster Family Network must continue to increase awareness of the foster care crisis facing San Diego’s infants and toddlers. Angels is not just a foster care program – it is a new and innovative model for providing the finest care possible for the most vulnerable of all foster children- the babies.
